“ I got my hair done for NYE and the stylist told me that she was having NYE dinner at this place which is a family favorite for many years. From what she told me, I knew we had to try it before leaving town so we went last night. First of all its a self standing red building with a Palm tree that blocks a good part of the sign from the street so if you go at night, there are lights that trim the building so it was easy to find. I read reviews and decided to have a favorite when going to steakhouses, a steak sandwich. It was a good and TENDER! You really don't need to open it and put on all the fixings yourself because they're neatly stacked in the sandwich already. I opened mine to put the pickles (they tasted homemade and delicious) and some steak sauce inside. It comes with fries but I opted for geeen salad with Thousand Island instead. My partner had a top sirloin steak that broccoli and baked potato. He said it was very good. Before our meals came, they brought out some warm french bread and butter. It was perfect while we sipped our wine. We enjoyed the ambiance, food, and mostly the attentiveness of our server and all of the other staff always checking on us as they walked by. My compliments to the owner, chef and management for having a great staff and delicious food! We're from out of town and will definitely return! ”

“ We have wanted to eat here for years, we couldn't do to our dog. Tonight we ate here and besides the wait, even with a reservation, it was fun and good. The hostess did a great job of dealing with it. Driving by over the years we have had so many ideas about what it would be like inside. It was all of them and more. Was it the decor, the steaks, the bar scene? Nope it was the family feel of people that have been coming here for years. This is not a high end steakhouse but the food was good and people were really friendly. The service was great and the inside was not what I expected but better I see why people love this place and I would come back. Oh and this was karaoke night and these people take this seriously, there were some great performances. I can't sing so everyone is good but this one women absolutely dominated an ABBA song ”

“ So I have heard about this place for years but have never had an opportunity to give it a shot . Let's start with the service ,,, service was really good , everyone was friendly and very welcoming . Bartender was funny and made very good drinks . Ambiance was nice , had that old fashioned steak house feel , they had Karaoke setting up in one room and it looked like people was enjoying themselves. Oh and the bathrooms are very clean . Now the food ,,, food was excellent, we had four different dishes and they all came out correct and very flavorful. Everything was cooked correctly and hot . The prices at this restaurant for the quality are great , surprised how reasonable the steaks and seafood is . All in all I am definitely going back , I look forward to visiting again and making this a regular dinning place for me and my family . ”

“ The $21 french dips delivered. Excellent flavor & quality. Aujus was on point! Very delicious just small portions for the price. Friendly staff. We got extra bread and popcorn. Pros: great local spot, bar and wine list. French dips are great Cons : super loud busy on a Saturday night long wait for server. Smallish portions. ”

“ Went twice in the same weekend at different times. The service was on top of our drink and bread refills. I ordered the steak medium and it was perfect. Wasn't a fan of the potato but I got the mash potato the next time and it was better. Saved room for a brownie and ice cream. The penne pasta was so delicious. Beautiful restaurant with smiling people in photos all around. ”

“ This has to be one of my favorite places to go on a Friday night when I need to get out. There is indoor seating, as well as outdoor. Both are great! If it's warm enough, sitting outside is relaxing, especially with the lights they have. Not too bright, but just enough to give it that night life vibe. The food here is delicious, and always cooked to order. The prime rib with creamy horseradish sauce is an absolute MUST! Pair that with a Guinness and you're set. The waiters are always on top of things too. If your glass is empty, you better believe they will be right there to top you off or ask if you'd like a refill from the bar. Great service paired with great company makes this a perfect evening spent! ”

“ Excellent old-school steakhouse. The service was exceptional. Not only was the server, informative and knowledgeable, he was pretty funny and entertaining in a non-intrusive way. In addition to the main server, others came as needed without fanfare. The ambience is pretty low-key pretty cool, definitely rural local California, chill and very comfortable ”
